I'm having a problem where I can't see anything on the hatch_c.dds file, but on the hatch_d.dds I can see it. Any reason why that is?
because the hatch_c.dds has a really low alpha amount so its hard to see in photoshop, its way easier in paint.NET
Do you know how to do this with Paint.NET? I'm pretty new to most photoshop programs, but I'd still like to learn how to do it. Unfortunately, your advice didn't get me very far. I tried painting some black scribbles on a fullsize as a test, but I couldn't see them in game. Could you elaborate, please?
You did edit the fullsize_c.dds, right? Then you save it as a .dds file and overwrite the file in vehicles/fullsize. Back up first though EDIT: Paint.NET is better program to edit textures, but I don't like it because I've used photoshop for years
I did! Fortunately, I figured out my error - I wasn't saving in the correct format! I've got it fixed now! Woohoo! C: Thanks for the help, guys!
Just finished my first skins (the Civetta is still WIP, need to add racing stripes) but I've got a dilemma with the colors. For some reason, the Civetta appears FAR less matte than the Van. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Aha, that's what I thought too. However, the diffusecolor2 for both the civetta and the van are the same. I changed the colors for the two cars to white in the _c.dds by changing both of them to white - the same version. This doesn't explain why the van is matte while the civetta is shiny. Is there a different area I should be look in the materials.cs?
Oh. Hmmm. I thought you could see how the car is atm. So everything in colour like you see in photoshop.(see picture about the covet earlier in this threat)
