Hello guys, been having this problem for a while but now it's got even worse. No matter how low I turn my graphics I still struggle with FPS. On grid map I get around 20FPS on low settings.
    My specs are
    3570k @4.6GHz
    8GB 2133Mhz RAM
    GTX 980 slightly overclocked.

Every other game runs perfect, I've seen people will lower end PC run this better than me.
I know it's an alpha, but surely there's something else wrong here.
    I have the latest drivers.

Hmm i5-3570K thats a Quad Core from what I read up its a 4 core with 4 threads on it. I am suspecting by the 2133MHz thats a DDR3 setup there...so you OCed the memory too..interesting...

    I have a 3570K @ 4.3Ghz... it can only run on DDR3.

More info? What more info can he give.. he has stated his hardware and he is getting 20FPS on Gridmap.

Should he tell you what country he has been in for the last 5 years and where he was born? [Sorry I had to say that]

Make sure your power options are not on "power saver".

does the 3570k have a integrated graphics unit (intel hd graphics or whatever the name was) ? if it does you might wanna check if the game uses that instead of your 980.

I too have been experiencing the same performance issues from the patch with a decent PC (XFX R9 270X). And yet again I as well am at 20fps and I do not increase or decrease for the most part. This is clearly a game optimization issue.

That GPU is good enough, as for I have a very similar GPU, and can pull almost maxed graphics settings and keep around 60 FPS on an (Approximately) 720p monitor, but what are your specs? None of this is relevant without specs.

    Here are mine, these are all that's needed to really help us determine whats wrong if its spec related;

    CPU; Intel i5 4690k
    GPU; MSI r9 270x 4GB
    RAM; 8 GB DDR3 @ 1600 MHz
O.S; Windows 10 Home (Not always needed but here its still a good idea to mention it.) (New PC Build, fresh install of Windows 10, no FPS issues with BeamNG.

    Anyway....

As for the O.P, What's your O.S and do you have anything interfering with the game?

There's an opened thread for perfomance issues. Go to this link and follow the steps shown.

Y'all are so lucky, lol. My computer only handles 16-20 fps at max but my game runs fine. Unfortunately I have to keep collisions disabled or else it drops to an unplayable 8fps

    Why is that interesting ?

OP go into the Start-screen>performance in BeamNG and take a screenshot and post it here.
If BeamNG has detected something wrong, like using the wrong GPU there is a big chance it will tell us

It might be your OS, I am beta tester of windows 10 and it runs like crap sometimes closes randomly then I upgraded and you guess the result,or maybe just maybe it might be bcs heat issues ,dust...

It's not a beta. It's a released OS now. I have 10 Pro and I personally love it. Guess it's just an opinion though...
