Ah, alright. Erm... should we compare our CPUs to find out what is required to play BeamNG at certain performances at least? I can't think of anything that is really good to come back on the initial topic with again.
Although a GTX970 or (I presume so) a R9 380X will always do the job just fine. I think a 980Ti really shines as soon as you want to record on high quality and FPS. Or am I wrong about that?
(Or for recording.) However, the 980Ti is something over the top when you want to buy it together with the whole rest of the computer, as it's basically just as expensive as a budget PC. The 970 is just my upper financial limit, while the Ti is only a thing to me as an extremely expensive upgrade. You will probably say the same, as you have (as you said) bought it as an upgrade either.
The 750 ti is a weakpoint in my setup and with the 980Ti it is balanced. (my brother is an Computer Nerd and he said that )
Aha. (I think that it's not balanced at all like that, you just don't have a bottleneck anymore. Although, what is your Mainboard and RAM? I'm curious because your 980Ti is definitely the best thing on that computer. If you wanted it absolutely balanced, you would need an i7 and some fast DDR4 RAM. And a top-of-the-line-SSD.
i have a gigabyte Z170X-Gaming3 and 16gb of Crosair Ram My Harddrive is a 128Gb Samsung 850 Evo overclocked for more writing rate
Yup. I think it's pretty much balanced like that (the i5-6600K is the best processor of its line (i5's), therefor you won't have a problem with any game on the market). The Z170X-Gaming3 clearly blows a Z-170K out of the water, which you would presume when you look at it being 10% more expensive. I know, that doesn't sound like much of a difference, it isn't, after all.
You all have waaaaaaay too much money left for your PCs. (How would anybody need to pay more than €1197,40 for his PC?)
Ha-ha!! You're right, but I work my ass off to buy a good PC and play the games I love, as simple as that
Unfortunately Arne Hurnik I don't own a car, due to bad eye sight . I used to drive the cars from previous jobs, small vans to do on-site jobs. I'm a metrologist by profession and my expertise is pressure measurements for the manufacturing, aerospace, pharmaceutical and oil industries. I work for one of North America's leading companies for Industrial Instrumentation and calibration services . That explains why I can afford such an expensive PC which by the way I built myself.
First of all: very interesting job. Second: Due to bad eyesight.... Glasses? Third: Never buy a prebuilt sytem. Always go with self built ones.
