When I run BeamNG.drive in Steam, the game tells me that I am running the 32 bit version of the game, and that I should use the 64 bit version. I have confirmed that it is the 32 bit version that I am running, but I don't know how to run the 64 bit version while still using the Steam overlay and etc. My operating system is Windows 8.1. beamngproblem.JPG

I see the problem! Remove Lavasoft Web Companion.

It's still running in 32 bit mode.

I rechecked the log and it still says Lavasoft is installed. It's not installed anymore...

I'm restarting Steam to see if that fixes it.

Post the log again. Maybe there are additional things causing it.
Oh. I'm not sure what's happening then. Maybe a developer will see this soon.

    Isn't it because you have a 32bit OS ?

    That shouldn't make any difference.

Obviously not, you don't have "Program Files (x86)" on a 32-bit OS.

No, my OS is Windows 8.1 64 Bit. If it helps, here are my specs: iMac 2012, Windows 8.1 64 Bit, 8GB RAM, 512MB Dedicated, Intel i5 Processor

It is running Windows though. I'm pretty sure others on here have BeamNG.drive working that way too.

Nope, it works like any other windows computer. It's like building your own computer, then installing windows. Apple products are actually the best Windows PCs.
