How do I run 64 bit version of BeamNG.drive (Steam)

    It sounds like you know how to manually run the 64-bit executable (eg C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\BeamNG.drive\Bin64BeamNG.drive.x64.exe). To get the Steam Overlay working you just need to go to your Steam Library and click "+ ADD A GAME". Navigate to the x64 executable and add that. Launching in this way gives you the overlay.

    EDIT: I meant to say that it seems clear that this is related to the 32bit/64bit detection issues others have reported. You might not want to mark the thread as solved until the official loader can pick the right EXE for you. Instead if this is good enough for now I'd mark it as having a workaround or something.

    @tdev in case you didn't see it, _SpacePeanut_ posted a picture of the launcher log in #3 and then mentioned in #7 that after removing Web Companion the log still indicates that it's present.
