Yes it does. Dual 2W speakers. It's turned all the way up and everything. I don't know, I'm done screwing with it.
Does it work with other devices (sorry if that has already been asked? Otherwise just use your headphones if you don't know any farther... I'm using mine too (although it's because my screen has two 1W speakers, I WANT THAT LG!!!), and it sounds just a million times better with headphones anyway.
I've tried the audio out and bypassing the HDMI switch I'm using and still nothing. I'll figure something out. It's don't work no matter what I try to do.
You can get used/refurbished entry-level thinkpads for under £200. T410/420. i5 CPUs, 4GB RAM upgradeable to 8. Good enough for basic use, Intel GPU means you won't be doing any gaming on it though. Been thinking of getting one myself. As for being thick and heavy, they're portable enough and way tougher than most laptops. Unless you're carrying it around all day it shouldn't be much of an issue. TBH, I'm not a fan of the new thin, lightweight, fragile laptops. Also much harder and more expensive to clean, repair or upgrade, terrible cooling, worse keyboards, the list goes on... I'd rather have an older model, even if it's a little heavier.
I code my laptop simply for the lighter weight and portability... ssd upgrade was a bitch. Hdd and wlan upgrades are a bitch too but ssd was a bigger bitch that required complete removal of the mobo oddly for a thin laptop and an hp laptop, never overheats or gets warm enough for throttle, but it is only a 14w tdp
I lug my T420 around place to place and it's not to heavy but in a bag you certainly know it's their. Unofficially you could bump a ThinkPad up to 16GB. To be honest I think a Lenovo Yoga would be perfect for you. Lightweight, slim, etc.
My girlfriend is rendering a video for school and asked me whether 480p or 720p would be better. I proceeded to write a novel on the subject. She did 720p. Poor girl needs a computer yesterday, too.
If you have the money, pay $100 more and get 30% more performance with a 980Ti, if you don't want to pay $650, stick with the 970, it's more than enough.
Nope. A GTX 970 is $350. A 980 is $550 (about 60% more expensive) and performance is about 15% better. Do the math, it's not worth it. If you want something better than a 970 but can't afford a 980Ti (which, by the way, is $650-700 and is ~80% better than a 970), go for an R9 390X. It's around $450 and performance is slightly better than a 980. Still not worth upgrading if you have a 970, though.
Some say you can overclock a 970 to meet or even exceed a 980, but I'm sure that they're only rumors. I haven't delved into it too much.
Fact is, you can overclock a 970 qute well, and win a good amount of performance. The tricky part is: Don't overdo it, or you will smoke it off. I know a pun about that.
Well, i found justin beiber linux. its based on puppy linux. so i thought, why not install it on a pentium 133mhz and 40mb? Ill report back if it works.
