Issue With Graphics Card (Not Sure If It's A Bug)

I use the integrated graphics card that came with my motherboard, was at 64M, now at 1024M (1GB). It says it requires at least 1GB, seems to run fine overall, except it's a little choppy sometimes, I've concluded this is because I just have the recommended RAM (8GB) and after looking at the RAM usage while playing BeamNG, it appears to use almost all of it, so I will upgrade more RAM.

The question is, do I need to buy a graphics card? The one it recommends is GTSX 780 ($500+)
Also, why is some more expensive? I've seen a 2GB that is $190+ and a 1GB that is twice as much?

You won't get high FPS with the internal HD4600. If i got you right, you already changed your Maxmem in the Bios to 1024 instead of 64? Check out your Intel HD GPU drivers and see if they display the 1gb correctly. If not, check your Bios settings.

 

Yes, I've changed it from 64 to 1024 (highest it will go). How do I check my drivers to see if it is working properly? Also, is this a good graphics card for BeamNG? I can't paste the link on my mobile but mysterybyte.com has one for an AMD one for $46 and there is another for $192.
