Hey guys, I am completely new to any form of content creation for BeamNG and I somehow got it in my head that I wanted to modify the visual styling of the pessima. I used Cinema 4D to modify the .dae into what you see below. I replaced the original with the new, however, when I try to open the car in game, I only see the stock pessima. I have also tried creating a new folder for it completely with the same result. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?

where are you putting the mesh? it should go in documents/beamng.drive/mods/unpacked/pessima.zip*/vehicles/pessima/MESH HERE
*pessima.zip is a folder, not a actual zip file

edit. it also looks like you may have to jbeam those extra parts for them to show up. or at least add the mesh to the main flexbody section of the coresponding part as a quick and dirty way

I have been putting the mesh in the beamng,drive/content/vehicle/midsize, so I'll give that a try. And I just saved the modifications onto the existing parts, so the bumper, hood, spoiler, etc are all saved as the same file name as before

Ah... The 80s Pessima is pessima, the 90s Pessima is midsize.
    Confusing, isn't it?

Make sure that your modifications are being done correctly as well. Just replacing the mesh isn't gonna do anything unless your add on parts are labeled and are being called upon in the JBeam. And by labeling I mean labeling the sub groups inside the .DAE. Look at the default cars to see what I am talking about.

Once those are labeled then you can edit the JBeam so that its calling upon those parts and can now load them into the game.

As for I dont know everything about how to adjust a JBeam I cant tell you how to do it, but I do understand basically what you need to do.

If I missed something guys, feel free to point me out with @Driv3r1142 in your message.
