Load 'puregrid' map and do a performance graph test.
Then load 'East coast USA' and do the same.

Then retry both with with physics paused ( J ).

Then try, on both map, to press F11, find 'player' in the 'scene-tree' and delete it (it should delete your vehicle). FPS still the same or goes up?

Sorry for these many requests, but the more data we gather regarding this issue, the faster we will find the issue.

..Is your GPU installed in the correct pci port?

Nothing to be sorry for. I want to sort out the issue as much as you do.

Also, do you want to see task manager on the side in the performance graph test like before?

Last minute edit you may have missed above.

Worth a double check: Is your GPU installed in the correct PCI-E port (Usually the one with highest speed)?

No. But, I researched around and found out there should only be a small decrease in performance, if any. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2216733/pci-express-x16-card-work-pci-x16-slot.html

I had to do this because my air cooler is so big it covers up the first slot.

he is using a lower end card, yours will be somewhat more impacted by loss of bandwidth if the second slot is not full speed

Ok, so if PCI-E port is ok, I will wait for the things written in post #21 :)

I have the same exact problems since the last update, My computer can really usually run the game at around 30-40 fps but then all of a sudden the last update made beamng just run in 10-11 fps although for the first few seconds the game runs at normal fps then it just dies, I have tried running it in lowest, low and normal mode all conclude to the same 10-11 fps.

I still run the game very well but skidmarks cause a huge performance hit for me on any map. If I'm doing a burnout I can get as low as 10 fps. Looking at performance graphs while this happens, the "CPU Render" part of the CPU graph jumps to almost 100ms, so it looks like the skidmarks are causing a lot of CPU draw calls.

CPU Render is indeed (or seems to be) the main cause of these problems.
    We are investigating.

Yeah, it's kinda normal. You should have checked your FPS when that happened.

Are you using AMD Raptr thing? If yes, try to disable it, some user reported FPS issues caused from it.

    Else, try this:
    http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Then download the latest drivers avalaible and install them.

Did that, now I am having freezing and performance issues in all games. Might be returning this card. This is ridiculous. Not going AMD next time.

Uh, if that happened by simply reinstalling video drivers, it's possible you installed the wrong ones? Or that the card is faulty.
Try to also contact AMD support (or post in their forums) meanwhile.

I installed a patch, which is what started the problem, then I reinstalled what I originally had, still have the problem. Already contacted AMD before we even started this discussion.

I agree with you. Probably just a bad card. The only reason I am not opting for a replacement is because I bought some games the require Physx which of course AMD gpus don't have. I was just going to deal with it but I see this as a chance to switch out to Nvidia to play those games.
