Lower & Abnormal FPS - Troubleshooting thread

Uhh sorry if wrong thread but i have some performance issues due this new update, there was some spikes up and down before it but now it seems they are bit worse. I am talking about the newest 0.5.1 update and 0.5 before it.

 

My problem is that after update 4.3.0 my FPS dropped. Before Update 4.3.0 I could run this on low settings at a decent 30-40 fps at intensive maps like Hirochi Raceway or Jungle Rock Island, now I only get ten or less. What happened? Is there any optimization problems with this game? Oh, and my computer isn't too good, it is a laptop with i7-4510u, with Intel Graphics 4400.

 

Here is all of the performance things:

 

running version 0.5.1. Normally(before version 0.5) i ran it on high with around 50 fps. Now it's all fucked lol

 

He's complaining, lol I only get a max of 18 or so for fps and my game runs fine.

 

It's kinda funny. The fps first gets stuck on 45 fps, then 31, then 24, then 19 and then last 11. It's weird as shit..

 

I have a strange feeling about the game. I can play on high in crossfire at 5760x1080 at 60 fps fluid as hell..
But when i fall back to 1 gpu i need to drop every setting down and even at 50 fps it feel like im at 20.

I may says that it did run better before with a single gpu before i upgraded some month ago. And now it seem bad.

 

My problems only happened when the Gavril added extra textures. I think that is after 0.4.3. That's when the low FPS happened.

 

Used to be at 30fps+ on gridmap

I have alienware 15 with ci7 and gtx980m with game installed on ssd strange i get 20 fps approx...even after slection nvidia as default processor and high performance..

 

i am using... dedicated gfx

 

use a tool such as hw monitor to check temperatures too. Alienware is notorious for poor thermals

 

and being way-overpriced "gaming" systems.
