I think this is not fair. I spend my money to purchase the game, and after updates BeamNG won't work any more on my old PC. So you are forcing me to buy a newer PC so I could play the game.

Unless you will update forum with car mods and new level models for DirectX 10 AND for DirectX 9.x the game stops to be usable.

Would you rate your cell phone 5 stars if yiu need to buy a new one every time Android or iOS upgrades with a new patch ?

...and yes, I do play BeamNG on old version via Steam, but I got bored because there are no new levels or cars... :(

It is hardly the developers fault that a long obsolete machine cant run it.

And iPhones get 5* ratings all the time, yet do exactly what you just said.

    1 . You double posted.
    2. I have a gaming pc, and I have a hard time running it. If you have a 1-2 Core CPU, Then you can only run 1-2 cars per time. 1 core per car depending on cars. The physics engine also eats up the CPU.
GPU is needed for it to look decent and some physics.

I know it sucks but you must be running pretty old hardware for it to not run DX11 BeamNG. You can pick up some cheap yet powerful (and most importantly DX11 compatible) graphics cards that should improve FPS and compatability. Out of curiosity, what hardware are you using at the moment?

    Edit: Double ninjad. :c

    CPU is also important.

Yes, but he isn't complaining becuase of the CPU, it's the GPU compatibility that's causing the issues he is bringing up. (unless you were referring to the hardware curiosity question :p)
Edit: Actually, you prove a valid point, my bad; If he is running off of his CPU integrated graphics then that may be outddated and DX11 incompatible)

OS is also important because if I remember right DX11 doesn't work on xp or older versions of windows.

Yes, but XP is not supported by this game, and if you are on an older OS... it may be time to upgrade.

Processor: Awful. It cannot handle the kind of physics for the game. *Your CPU is the one dragging you down most*
Graphics: Eh, not good but runnable. You're game won't look good. *This probably doesn't help FPS*
RAM: A bit low. I'd recommend 6-8 GB total. It's a very cheap upgrade and your whole PC will multitask faster. Beam uses about 3-4GB to run well.
    Win 7 is great.

It's a hard truth. You're PC just isn't that much of a math nerd to run the game. And I hate to break it to you, nobody will say any different. It may not be fair, but it's the reality of your situation

If you are so inclined, ask for a refund.

Graphics, not even good. Intel HD series is far more powerful. His issue is actually that his card doesnt support directX 10 or 11 it is that underpowered and outdated.

Also, if you decided to start upgrading after all, make sure you get an Intel processor. Everything AMD makes is, from what I hear, straight up useless for this game. I no longer follow the "processor wars", so I don't know if that holds true for all gaming or general computing, nor do I know why that is the case, but for this game, you need an Intel.

I still say it's sad that nothing runs on XP anymore. Every Windows since has been annoying in some way.

Its annoying when posts like this appear and we are mostly running new Hardware and we see someone whining about their game being crap and they think their 7 year old hardware is good enough...I was like that at one point but I upgraded and became a born again PC gamer

Hate to say it, The processor is probably the worst for physics and actual running of the game.
Your graphics is also kinda bad.
I have a AMD FX 6300 (6 Core) and it barely runs 2+ cars. I also have a GT-740 and i run on normal about 10 FPS. 15 on Gridmap.
I have 16 gig ram, Which would be plenty. I would say refund the game, or rebuild your pc or buy a new one that can run it decently, which would be 400-500 probably. I bought a 800 one which runs it how i said earler.

Any AMD will not run BeamNG well at all, except maybe the highest end AMDs. The GPU is utterly terrible and modern integrated graphics is actually much better. Lastly, 3 GB of RAM is pitiful, but 8 GB works well. No need for 16.

Yep, that Processor is at its end of Gaming-Life.

You can build a PC capable of running newer games for around €400 ($450).

I could make you a config in this price range, you jusrt need to day the money you are ready to spend and from which country you are. Building a PC is easy. :)

specs for my machine. cost around $700 to build.

Processor AMD a8-5500 APU quad core (Intel processors are better for gaming but I was short on fund at the time. Still a good processor)
graphics: Asus GTX 750 2 GB GDDR5 overclock edition
    ram: 16gb ddr3
    OS: win 10 x64
Motherboard: basic Asus mother board nothing high end like the z97

Also got a few other things but with this build I run beamng without any problems of course only at 20 fps still runs good though. Just a few options you could take to get an upgraded machine.

Edit: the guy above this post has a beast of a machine.
