Well I have decided that I want to try to learn how to Jbeam. So long story short I ended up messing with an older vehicle I found that unfortunately was a russian mod as I found a few good vehicles there that I would want to drive in the game. Well I managed to get the car to load properly, and as everyone else the tires pop upon loading the vehicle. So I opened the jbeam files and starting looking at the code (bear in mind that I am also learning how to code in the process) so I get to thinking maybe if I took an updated wheels code from another vehicle that it could possibly work. Well it did sort of..... the tires no longer pop because they are no longer there when loading the new code. The vehicle still loads just looks like someone stole the tires ingame. lol. So I was wondering if it was possible to copy the code from another updated vehicle and put it onto an older vehicle to get it to work properly? There should be a way to possibly do this. I have also started messing around with the BNeditor that came with the game to create various objects. Heres a pic of what I managed so far and will still mess around with it to see if I could possibly get it to work. It is a Mazda 626 mod that I found.
You can't just copy a jbeam from one car to another and expect it to work. You'd have to do a bit of editing. Don't ask me how though.
yay I got it to work. XD now just gotta get the rest of it to work properly. because there is no grip at all when driving.
yay I got it to work. XD Edit: now just gotta get the rest of it to work properly. because there is no grip at all when driving. Edit#2: figured out why it won't turn. at high speeds only one wheel turns while the other stays straight. gotta edit something, but first gotta find that something. Edit#3: did not mean for it to create another post.... sorry.
