Camera controls stuck as driving?

For some reason I just opened up the program, chose the Grid Map, and tried to move my camera using the numpad, and for some reason it controlled the car. Numpad 8 would go forward, 2 would go reverse, 6 and 4 would turn. The normal controls, arrow keys, worked as well.

 

Are you holding down shift? For me that happens when I'm holding down the clutch(default key left shift), try holding down left shift and see if that fixes it.

 

Do you have numpad oon turn it on if not

He means that you might have num lock on so try to turn num lock off.

 

Yes sorry I was on an iPod keyboard and I have massive thumbs I meant turn on numlock

 

Press ~ to read the bug report. While I was building my car for BNG I kept making errors in the code, and the game froze the physics before it crashed. Sounds similar - everything just stops.

 

Press numlock.
