New wave, alternative rock, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, synthpop, and post-punk seem to be the most prevalent genres in my music library.

Mostly Rock and what ever is on the radio, so long as it sounds good I don't mind what it is.

Anything, really. Currently I'm on a Mid-Forties to Mid-Sixties jazz kick. Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong , Fred Astaire, Pearl Bailey, that kind of thing. Can't go wrong with Miss Ella.

Ah. At least someone on this blasted forum likes the same stuff I do. I listen to opera. I am a countertenor with a range from low bass to high soprano. And I can still do it! This influences the type of music I like. However, a good Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, or Supertramp is good for the ears sometimes.

My favorite is easily Metal, but I listen to a variety of things:
Metal (duh...)-Mostly thrash and groove, with some melodic death
    Rock- Classic, hard, alt, etc...
    Orquestra
Rap/Hip Hop- So long as it's not the modern "fornicate mindlessly and procure currency through second rate music" kind
    Some R&B
    Some EDM
    Even some Country
Some other stuff I either forgot or was too lazy to list
I also listen to a lot of soundtracks from my favorite shows/video games- Red vs. Blue and Xenoblade Chronicles in particular come to mind
    My favorite songs woud be:
Guilty All The Same- Linkin Park
    Rise- Pantera
    Hit The Floor- Linkin Park
    Watch It Crash- Streetlight Manifesto
    Who Made Who- AC/DC
    Mechanical Rhythm- ACE+ (Xenoblade Chronicles)
You WIll Know Our Names- ACE+ (Xenoblade Chronicles)
Spiral- Jeff Williams (Red vs. Blue)
