I have seen some talk about the game lfs (life for speed) on here forums but, was curious about the handling of the cars, can gabe or someone tell or compare the handling of the cars to a game they have played,
i my self love the handling of LFS and drifting on LFS, would be nice if the handling would be anyway similar.
And sry about my bad english.

It feels a lot like LFS, just maybe with slightly number tires (though LFS tires are already pretty numb)

Can we expect a video with some drifting, burnouts and other tyre abuse?

If the physics engine is like lfs, it must be really accurate. That is what I wanted the most for this game, because rigs of rods is quite a good game but the cars are so badly slippy. Realistic handling + best deformation ever = best car simulator so far AND THAT WILL BE SO MUCH FUN :D

I feel LFS's physics are good but dated. Roll overs really don't happen and damage is quite poorly simulated

Rollovers are fine try the same thing in RoR and you'll see what I mean, real cars don't flip at every corner. The damage isn't the main focus of LFS its more based on the vehicle physics such as suspension, weight, tires, etc not so much damage.

Just an off-topic here, but I keep misreading your name as a band I like. You wouldn't happen to like Dimmu Borgir, would you?

I'm LFS veteran since 2005 till present and I must say that nothing can come to LFS, it has best handling physics, only Forza Motorsport can compete with it. The only drawback is that Live For Speed is progressing no more, no patches since 2012 and it's very sad, it need better graphics and better deformation. BeamNG has great deformation but handling needs to be fixed, because tires start jumping when doing burnout and that makes car unresponsive, also sometimes it has bad grip on asphalt and on dusty roads its completely out of control, that's a problem. As for destruction, even though this is beta some of the car parts like exhaust system wont bend :D BeamNG has a good potential, so we need more devs to work hard

Hey your post made me curious so I installed LFS and I must say the handling is pretty good, from what I can tell by playing with the mouse, especially the weight shifts.
Do you play Forza with a wheel? Cause it's very easy with the controller, and even without assists you still get steering aid, they implemented that in 4 I think.
    Sorry if that's off topic.

Definitely doesn't feel similar to LFS. The tire physics are far different, this game is much looser and less predictable when it comes to traction. Even LFS had that problem, just not nearly as prevalent. Infact, the developers have been working on a new tire model for like what.. 4.. almost 5 years now? Pretty sure they just got to a point where they just said "fuck it". Hoping this development team can figure it out, and if not I hope you guys at least try to make it feel right. No point having real values if it doesn't feel real.

Please.... it doesn't come even close. You still have shitloads of work to do, but you are going the right way. Btw, you have a weird attitude towards your game. Instead of having this vision of improving the game, you already have this thought that this game is almost perfect and no people should have anything bad to say about it. Can't see this game go far with such attitude..

This game is far, very far from anything perfect and it's close to good but it isn't even good yet.

Yes, I used to play Forza With G25 and it's fun I must say! (no assists ofcourse) , I played it a few times with the wheel but I had to remove the wheel because of some problems with it, now playing with gamepad

The only thing I don't like about Forza 4 is that the game corrects your driving line automatically when you get oversteer in a corner.
You can see the jaggy movement of the car, or watch a replay. (even with steering on simulation and all assists off)
    If you play with gamepad.

LFS is more full racing sim.
Forza is semi sim, got arcade in it like gran turismo.
You can compare pCars, Assetto Corsa, rfactor2 and more with LFS.
But comparing forza with it is like a "joke".
