I've spawned multiple vehicles in the map editor. But when I press CTRL+T and enable the AI, nothing happens. I've tried it multiple times, even with enabling the 'isAIController' checkmark, but no luck yet.
    Am I missing something here?

    Thanks in advance,

    Nick

I've gone through that thread a fews time now and even though I follow all the directions, AI still doesn't work. I've even reset my game a few times tried again but nothing.

The AI works for me all the time by following these steps:

    1. Start with a new game, change your first car to a desired car.
    2. Spawn other cars and change them to any car you want (using the editor - F11 key, and selecting cars from library)
    3. Turn on AI (for example. chasing player) by pressing ctrl+t on the first car (not sure if needed, I just make sure to have the first car selected).
    4. Cycle through every car, which enables the AI.

Resetting the car positions work (R key), you can cycle through the cars and keep resetting them all, the AI still works.

Unfortunately AI breaks when you change your car (using either ctrl+w or ctrl+e), or respawn using ctrl+r, which makes AI lose interest.

Edit: Also make sure you have the latest version of the game. Update if needed.

Thanks, I'll try this when I get home later. Work computers have no chance of running BeamNG lol

Its fixed! I'm just an idiot that should have updated his game. Too bad the patch didn't fix the awkward 3rd person camera.. but oh well! Thanks for the help guys!

Nothing wrong with the 3th person camera, i love it :)

Press "5" on your num-pad to fixate the 3th person camera in a central very acceptable driving position. (don't forget to turn on your numlock)

PS: With numlock off, you can use the numpad for steering the car too !

I thought I'd add that If you use manual then AI wont shift out of neutral for some reason.
