i purchased the alpha yesterday and got an email with the reg key instantly and loving it ever since!! keep up the great work devs!

 

Do not know what to answer.. just speachless..

 

I bought the game after playing the Demo for about 10 mins

 

Then why i can not see the drive badge on your profile..

 

Because they might not have upgraded their account yet. People need to stop jumping to conclusions, it's easy to miss the link in that email.

 

Yes, i do know that. but i just asked, what was the problem about that. people also need to condclude when it's needed, it's easy for people to lie.

 

What would be the point of lying about that? Anyways I am new and not looking for arguments in the first hour of being here

 

Purchased around midnight, downloaded quickly (located in the PNW), installed with no trouble, and it plays wonderfully. Next step is 360 controller

 

waiting for one update and then i'm gonna buy it : D

I purchased it over the weekend, and have been playing ever since. Also gave some love with the donate button. How much more do I need to donate to get my personal vehicle rendered into the game?

 

Also bought it. having problems updating though... but it's nice

 

Bought Alpha! And threw in an extra $5.

Don't seem to have access to anything other than the tech demo content though. Hit the Update in the start menu tab and it runs through some stuff but in game I am only in ver 0.3.01... Dunno what's up.

 

I'm assuming you downloaded the alpha from the link in the email it sends you, right?

 

Yep the e-mail was titled:
BeamNG.com : Your BeamNG.drive Alpha Test Access License Information - Important‏


Clicked on the download link and it allows me to d/l BeamNG.drive-0.3-setup.zip

I then went into the start menu and clicked on BeanNG.drive Update. It says updater v1.3 [alpha-stable] The sign says 5 Aug 2013 and ver is 0.3.01

Installed that and I can't use any of the vehicles I'm seeing in Alpha footage in YouTube videos. I can just drive the basic 5 vehicles.

Wondering why I'm not able to load any of the other vehicles in.

 

There are only 5 vehicles right now. The others you've seen are likely works in progress. Mind giving a link to those videos so I can see which? I have a feeling it's the Moonhawk but I don't recall any videos of it.

 

Can't drive the panel van, the old convertible or the 4x4 buggy.

Wait...just read the video's desc closer and it looks like these are mods! Well crap now I have to go and figure out how to get those installed and working!

The buggy and the convertible are mods, yes. You can find them on thie forum, and installing them is as simple as opening a file and dragging a folder from within that file to your BeamNG Vehicles folder.
The panel van is drivable ingame, it's a customisation option for the default van. It's not a mod but it's not a separate vehicle.

 

Very cool! Got the buggy working and thanks for the info on the van. Didn't try all the variations of the 5 vehicles before I went and opened my yap...
