I'm thinking those may be updates to the qa branch. So maybe they're working on getting the update through QA, and once thats done they'll release it to the public.
Updating on a monday...I have my doubts on that one. What he means with QA is Quality Assurance, this can take a lot of time to ensure we get a stable build. Kerbal Space Program is currently also in QA, waiting for that new build as well
They have done it on a Monday a few updates ago. And the last was a Wednesday so I think we will get it before Friday
That was version 0.4.3.1, what was mainly a bugfix update. When looking through the DevBlog I recognised that the big updates (as 0.5 or the update including the SBR4) came out on Friday, the not-so-big updates released irregularly. This would explain why 0.5.1 got relesed on Wednesday. (I'd call 0.5.1 smaller than 0.5) As I expect this update being huge, it would make sense to release it on Friday. (Although I hope it will be released earlier )
Once again, introducing a new vehicle, more new content, and fixing shit loads of bugs is not a small update.
How about we stop talking about when it comes out and just wait before this turns into a flamewar? Updates are scheduled for Fridays and bugfixes a few days later (Usually Mondays). Don't expect a huge update with many features tomorrow.
https://steamdb.info/app/284160/history/ That's the QA branch getting updated (Happens daily). We don't really have a reason for updates on friday. But I guess it's because: It gives 2 days of just seeing how things goes and see what needs immediate fixing on Monday. People can enjoy the game in the weekend (damn those game releasing right after the end of the holidays, aimrite?) Also, we prefer to make sure everything is working before releasing an update..
