I want to get colors like that!

    If I'm correct, those aren't color effects. That's an older screenshot from when the game used CryEngine3. Now, after switching to Torque3D, the textures look different. If you want to see for yourself, compare these videos. The first one uses CryEngine, the second uses Torque3D.


    As you can see, the vehicles in CryEngine look more dusty and realistic, but the vehicles in Torque3D have detailed reflections. CryEngine looked better imo, but it's WAY too expensive for a smaller game like this. Switching to Torque3D was a very smart move.

    Somewhat.
    The textures weren't removed. The game shifted to an entirely new engine, so everything looked different.

    You could probably get this effect by playing with the postFX settings and removing the reflective (specular?) maps from the cars. I personally prefer the more vibrant look of the T3D presets the team is using, there's too much "Grit brown realism brown brown brown brown oh look grey!" in games these days, but if that's your bag then go to town modifying game files to try and produce it.
