Satnav on SBR4 and Sunburst?

So the new ETK 800 series has standard satnav.

Since the SBR4 has a screen standard and the Sunburst has it as an option, I think it would be great if we could have the satnav there too. The cars would be perfectly capable of it. It might also be cool to have in-game music played through a radio.

 

I like the idea of the satnav, but not the radio. Why? Because it can be expensive to get licenses to songs and the devs are more focused on other things.

 

No radio for me, you can just use a real radio. I think the satnav in the Hirochis is a good idea though.

 

Also the Sunburst.

 

I believe the Devs said the satnav in the ETK was a proof of concept so it's probably not ready to put in all the cars yet. As for the radio, perhaps it could be implemented using an internet radio, or a folder you could drop your music into, but for now the steam overlay works well enough.

 

or itunes and even default windows media player will respond to media keys on your keyboard (if present)

 

It could be royalty free music.

 

Nah, all that's really need is to make a script that plays from a shoutcast server (Internet radio), or plays MP3 or OGG files from a certain directory, and it'll play whatever the player wishes. No licensing needed.

In addition to having it on the SBR4 and Sunburst I'd also like to have it as an option on the other vehicles too although not built into the dash.
