A 2500K (which is actually at 3.7GHz btw, boost clock) has about twice the single threaded performance of an FX-6100. Even with the AMD @4.5GHz the i5 is ~80% better single thread. Massive difference.

AMD isn't good, read my post above.

@BlueScreen I'm an AMD user and yes, in that kind of cpu madness games i need an overclock... I try to do some overclock on my BIOS but there are no Voltage settings. I got a Gigabyte 970A-DS3P motherboard for of course an AMD AM3+ socket. And you made me an Intel lover but i'm still an AMD fan for GPU's :) Nvidia is creating beasts but... I can overclock to 4.3 ghz without touching to the voltage setting (because i couldn't use that voltage setting and it wasnt like in AMD Overdrive one... In overdrive i succesfully get a nice 4.5ghz with 1.4000 voltage but no way can't reach that clock speed in bios because my voltage setting is really different from what i saw from AMD Overdrive.

I have 4670 3.7GHz and 970, but still 30fps on JRI with single pickup (maxed out settings). What's this?

Drivers up to date? DirectX? Tried calling your computer a waste of silicon while holding a big fat screwdriver?

Don't max out reflections. Disable VSync (use frame limiter instead, set it to 80 or more).

@Psych0 #FullControl I got the same CPU as you my friend... Overclock it to 4.5ghz and you are ready for 60 fps with one car and beautiful crashes. I did and it worked! Overclock is your solution until you buy yourself a INTEL CPU but now, as i said, get yourself AMD Overdrive program and overclock it. If you have a aftermarket cooler like me, just go for 4.5ghz. Do overclock in your BIOS! And don't forget you need to check your multipliers in Overdrive First! When you learned your multiply, just go and try for voltage (what i did was start from +0 and just add one by one... And when it boots, it means you can boot your pc but still you need more power. When PC boots, just go to AMD Overdrive and don't touch anything, go into the stability test menu and set it for one minute. Than, it will says you hardware failure or somethings like that, you should add one more voltage until you don't get those error messages(as i say voltage, im hoping your motherboard adds 0.010 or 0.020 v in voltage section) But be careful, do everything slowly and one by one... Be careful about frying your CPU.

Edit: As i say frying your CPU, its not easy but it can happen if you do overvoltage. When you do overvoltage, you can get broken data like pixelated program areas, pinky-greeny kind of colored cube shaped pixel groups so do it slowly... Check how you can do in Google. I did it like that... And if the game freezes when you start from original steam shortcut, try to go there from without steam's launcher.(Basically, the launcher in the steam>steamapps>common>beamng)
