Only thing is that you have to remember to stick all the cables in. :p Almost wrecked my old mainboard by somehow not connecting the On/Off switch quite a bit of time ago. I was such an idiot so little time ago...
@BlueScreen sorry if you feel haunted. That's pretty coincidentally.

Yeah, I was gonna build my own from the ground up. I just don't know where to start. I know a lot about computers and all, but I've never built a gaming one from scratch. I know me though, I'd have to have the best equipment out there if I'm finna build one. If I pay for one to be built by someone else is there any good website's or people y'all know who can build a good gaming pc for BeamNg.Drive?

I just want to know this for now. Until I get one custom built for gaming purposes, will this Desktop at least match or be a little better than my Laptop? I'll post the picture of both their specifications again for reference. Desktop is First, Laptop is Second.

@Donny8769 If you want to play this nice game? Than just go for an INTEL and never check for an AMD, forget the AMD unless you're doing a extreme tight budget pc ;):) I'm using an AMD FX 6100 CPU and I'm trying to overclock it because i want around 30 fps for playing.(I'm getting 15-20fps) A friend of mine said this game is based on single core speed, so this is your answer... Build a current gen Intel CPU and AMD or Nvidia GPU. I think Radeon GPU's are better for budget PC's. I'm using a Sapphire Radeon R7 260X it can run GTA V with high settings around 1080p and 45-50FPS(more fps, overclock it without thinking but dont push too hard with MSI Afterburner. MSI Afterburner doesn't burns your GPU when you're using it in normal config and settings but it can be unstable if u get wrong settings)

@Donny8769 Forget the laptop and throw it away because of its BAD AMD CPU. At least an i5 intel is good for you. And if you want a desktop give me your budget and which site you choose i got a nice configuration for you. I can get you around 800$ - 900$ 1080 high-ultimate PC. But ask other people too. Because i like Sapphire and Radeon series and you can think about Nvidia too... If you want to do some video editing etc. you will get yourself a nice Nvidia GPU. But you say im going to play games like crazy and with the nice graphics with decent FPS, you can buy Radeon series gpus. Left one is good except its GPU. Its not good and a little bit old.

Always build it yourself. It's really easy. As for the desktop PC you bought, you should return it for a refund, it's worth about $300 less than you paid for it.

    Read this:
    http://www.beamng.com/threads/computer-building-guide.12416/

There are a few suggested builds in part 10 (or is it 11 now?), one for $750 which matches your budget (no peripherals).

just for the record, i have a phenom2 6 core and its holding up just fine. i get solid frame rates and im not even going to consider upgrading until the summer when i can build something that will blow away anything you can build today.

Yeah, I'm finna just keep it for the hell of it and build a gaming one for my bedroom. I just hope at least for now it will match my Laptops performance or best it a little. It should play it a little Bette then my Laptop does.

Just saying, you will be disappointed by Pascal and Polaris. They'll have 40% better performance at most. I know they're 14nm, that only makes them more efficient not more powerful. Besides the highest end cards (1080ti?) are usually released about a year later.

    Anyway, let's stay on topic.

Don't. You overpaid $300. Do whatever you can to get your money back.

2 things. Shader count will tell the real story when we know the final count. You need to return that thing. 300 is a lot in computer world.

I built my current rig in less than 45 mins (with no past experience), its very easy to build a custom tower.

It is better than your laptop, but not good enough. Don't keep it, you'd be throwing away $300.

processor is better than laptop and that's it. Graphics are near unusably bad. If you don't want to return your 500 dollar pc you can upgrade the gpu easily enough.

Okay, I took y'alls advice and cancelled my order for the Dell Inspirion. I have a $720.00 budget and I'm looking for a decent gaming computer that will run BeamNG at at least 30 FPS. It must include a monitor in that budget because I no longer have my old one. I really don't want to order anything and wait weeks for it. I'm kinda looking for something to buy or pick up on the spot tomorrow, any ideas?

I've said this and I'll say it again:

    DO NOT BUY PRE BUILT

    Look here
    http://www.beamng.com/threads/computer-building-guide.12416/
    for parts advice.
You can get a decent 1080p monitor for $100-150 (less if you go used), so your PC budget is around $600.

No monitor included in price tag, but can run BeamNG at normal settings at 30-45 fps at 1920x1080 or 50-60 fps at normal at 1600x900. This is basically my current computer, that I built a little over a year ago.

Also, you get to choose which operating system you want to install on your newly built PC.

I have a Dell 1080p monitor that I got new for $80, but there are some minor ghosting issues.
