downloading is legal in canada uploading is illegal and never caught in the act so no proof so im good no cops no problems i pirate games because well if i bought all of them then i would not be able to afford my other computer my dirtbike my four wheeler my truck and gas for the previously mentioned after all i only have a full time job

Have fun with your games OP, you should buy the games you play most though. IMHO as a pirate of many things myself, if you invest more than 5-10 hours of time playing a game, the Developer did a good job and deserve your support.

I pirate most of the single player games I own, as most of the time they are the super hyped AAA titles that get boring and repetitive after 1-3 hours of playing a linear campaign, and at the same time I have no issue with my 2,000$ Desktop or 1200$ laptop, or the hundreds of dollars I've spent on my current favorite game Planetside 2. As Gabe said in the Valve video, companies EARN my currency.


TLDR: Good on you OP, enjoy your stuff, but don't murder your childhood by working non stop.

 

It's not just that he pirates, It's that he's so immature about it. He wouldn't have receved nearly as much hate if he would just be mature. You probably won't be hated on because you pirate because atleast you're mature abut it

 

I suppose that is true, but what more can you expect from a 15 year old? I won't hold his grammar against him. To be honest, his spelling and grammar is quite on par with what I've seen from many managers/corporate leaders.
