The Difference Between Quality and Low Quality Mods

Almost anyone can slap a mesh on a JBeam. Few can do it right. Almost no one knows what they are doing.(In this scenario)

Russian mods are just slapped on a slightly or not even slightly adjusted JBeam and handle and deform like crap

 

Yeah its a disgrace...

 

To be honest, this thread should be targeted at quite a lot of medium-big youtubers who use a lot of really bad mods
For example - SpeirsTheAmazingHD
I mostly really enjoy his videos except his BeamNG ones - mainly because he uses unofficial mods from those "Russian" websites

Oh, yeah and by the way I can't say much because back in the RoR days, I had a few infractions from mods like these...Just sayin'...

 

Its awful to see big names such as Jordan Maron using Russian mod like that its awful the game should block any and all Russian downloaded mods like there should be a parity check bit in the files if that parity check bit isnt there the mod will refuse to work and an error message saying "Dont use Russian Mods" should come up on screen until the suspect mod has been removed....

I doubt a Parity Check Bit could be added....its very complicated stuff I would say currently its impossible to add into the game

On the other hand there are good news: the forums are #1 & #2 when searching for "beamng mods"

 

Good one, maybe in Large Friendly red letters "GO TO BEAMNG DRIVE/RESOURCES"

 

It also helps for new comers when they boot up the game they can add mods from there and it directs them to the mods section of the forums

 

The sadest thing about this is that all youtubers that use Russian mods do make the game look like sh** and maybe people would also think the modders of this mod is a 9 year old kid. It´s sad. rly

 

I had a massive argument with The Sethioz Project about these mods in the comment section of his video, and he was saying that beamNG was boring without them

Getting a little off topic, but I hate when popular youtubers use mods from the forums and don't give credit. I saw a SpeirsTheAmazingHD video using the ETK Widebody mod make by @SkritCraft and saying "Leave a like for how good this sounds" like he made it. Sounds a little out of proportion from me, and maybe I took it the wrong way.

ot: It isn't any better to try to get russian mod sites to take the mods off when you need to get into a whole legal dispute.

Actually, carfag and volksfagen were here due to the author making it clear that they are shitty mods, made strictly for the lolz.

 

Honestly speirs is pure cancer, his videos are totally unfunny and he doesn't give a nipple erecting fuck about anything other than his views.
