Im asking because i think it would be a cool mod and i dont have the expertise to make a mod so if anyone can i would realy appreciate it this is my first thread so sorry if i did something wrong

A word of warning here... If you're adding a new slot to the main part of the vehicle, you'd need to update your mod each time the original vehicle gets updated... Failing to do that could cause problems that people would most likely blame on the official update.
Not every vehicle could tow a trailer, though. I don't imagine the Covet's transmission or engine is strong enough to pull anything bigger than a bike rack or mini trailer. The SBR4 and Bolide shouldn't pull trailers, and the Pigeon... well actually, why not for the Pigeon?
I am most inclined of having a trailer for the Covet (And all other cars) because, my parents had a 1981 Ford Escort five door with a tow hitch and I remember sitting in the back seat with a U-Haul trailer in tow when we moved to our new home.
What on earth was wrong with it, it was just suggesting that every stock vehicle in the game should have a tow hitch.
Ignoring whatever is going on in this thread, this is a nice idea for a simpleish mod pack that I might work on later now that I've added a tow hitch to the Pigeon XL.
