I have room for a bike here, but nowhere I visit then has bike storage. That and most places are easily walkable. Even the train station only took me 40 minutes to walk back from after sending friend off, that was without me walking at my usual brisk pace.
Oh, don't mind me and my $250USD/£180 per year insurance premium. Even at this price, I think it's a total rip, but being a tightarse might have something to do with it.
I live on the edge of campus, so for me it is a 10 min walk through campus to the city center, 15 mins to the train station, I have a large supermarket and 2 retail parks 5 mins in a different direction. But since Lincoln is a small place I can also walk into the countryside within about 15 mins. So I am very close to everything, but I would like the ability to get further into the countryside surrounding Lincoln because then the amount of routes that i can take increases exponentially. Since only having the option of 3 paths on this side of the city is not great, although I haven't walked out the other side of the city yet, but that will take about 25 mins to get to the edge.
I'm within 10 minutes of uni, 2 asdas and an aldi. 15 from my favourite pub. Well under 5 for majority of friends houses. Town centre I can do in 25 or 30 or so.
So, if you haven't heard: Forza 6 Apex coming to PC. Free to play Windows Store Windows 10 only (DirectX 12) It is basically a light-weight version of Forza 6 on Xbone. http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/turn10_postst58960_Forza-Motorsport-6--Apex--Win10.aspx IMO, They are doing this mainly to 'test' the waters on PC.
The number of people on that article stating that Forza on PC will be a bad thing is insane. Almost as insane as what they are saying
I think I've already told you personally but I should mention that they've confirmed the future Forzas will all be PC titles as well as Xbox, which might be bigger news.
too bad i can never go back to forza for my serious sim fix. i want a tire model that needs its own entire computer to simulate. not that lookup table spread sheet simulator kind. the cars are pretty tho. my favorite forza is still 2.
Never been a fan of the main forza series, but oh wow if this means horizon 2 is coming to pc Ill have an aneurysm.
Probably not Horizon 2 but the next one. But there's no such thing as needing an entire computer to simulate, not in an existing game. Forza's tire simulation is one of the most in-depth ever made for a game, the only "simple" thing about it is that it dynamically adjusts controller input to make it easier to handle.
you must be a programmer as well. i was exaggerating. if i could account for every molecule of each tire and every molecule of the surface it touches i would. i dare you to use the word "practical" in a response to me.
no one with that attitude ever changed the world. no one with that attitude has ever been called a genius. you look 5 years ahead i look 50. im an amateur visionary hoping one day my video games let me feel the g force and smell the rubber. believe in tomorrow.
Uhhhh, ok I'm excited for forza on PC though. Horizons 3 or Forza 7 I will pick up for sure, and I'll download the f2p one once it's out.
No wheel support, doesn't surprise me whatsoever. Definitively won't bother now. http://www.virtualr.net/forza-motorsport-6-apex-officially-announced
No wheel support at launch specifically, they said they want to use it as a test bed for wheel manufacturers to develop against. Either way, I've never once played Forza with a wheel so this won't stop me.
Is that their way of saying that they want all wheel developers to switch to xbox input. Since I can guarantee it will work fine with the official xbox steering wheels.
