starting a new map

hey guys!

I hope you all are still enjoying beamNG DRIVE just the way I do!?
I have a small question; I am planning on creating my own map but I have
no idea where I can find an empty map to start with. please help?

 

i started off by loading grid pure and using F11 editor and adding roads, terrains, objects etc. def not that great at it but im learning

 

ye I have been trying that too but it's not really working since the map is infinite and I lose the position of my creation every time :?

I already knew the basics but just couldn't make a decent looking map to save my life, it helped A LOT.
