So recently I started playing GTA online. I am only level 5 at the moment, does anyone have any tips on how to progress online(leveling up,making money etc)
I play GTA Online on my PS4... I am level 146. (I can't play it because my PS Plus is gone, I have to buy a new one)
The last time I played GTA V was in late 2013 / early 2014, but from what I remember, the only way to get cash was to grind missions. It's terrible. The game is centered around getting money, but it's no fun to get money. Now, heists may have changed that, but I haven't tested them. Plus the PS3 graphics are a little hard on the eyes coming from a GTX 970...
yeah no, fivem has been dead for about a month now because T2 are assholes and brought ntauthority to court after he ignored the PI's sent by T2
Find 3 other nice and decent people and do heists non-stop (or wait for a cheater to drop moneybags).
im aware of this. nothing will ever touch the days of SA:MP in the mid 2000s. that was the very top of multiplayer gaming as far as im concerned and im ok with just having the memories. gta online was poorly implemented anyway i haven't played gta5 in months.
Or you can be the cheater, nobody gives a shit. The online system is so broken anyway you're better off not playing by the rules.
@Slammington Well i wouldn't want to risk my 120€ account (PS3+PC) PLUS i don't want to encourage cheating. (Cheating is fine in singleplayer games) Also the way they implemented online mode in GTA5 is just pathetic. Just like DayZ mod (or any ARMA /mod) a lot of stuff is done on clientside and opens the flood gates for cheating hence why all they can do is banning. Fundamentally broken. Btw a friend of mine got the game for like 2 days - met a cheater, got 6 million something, bougth everything and never played the game since. Like 5 hours total played. Is that the definition of fun? On the other side is ridiciulous gating (millions for low-riders, millions for gold-jets) fun? GTA5 online cheating has its reasons too.
My biggest reason for cheating (I did it in the summer, but I don't need to anymore.) is purely because of money. Rockstar has intentionally overpriced everything in game, as an attempt to get more Shark Card sales. I don't really even play GTA online anymore, but I support cheaters purely as a "fuck you" to rockstar.
Yeah GTA Online aside from the neat missions is one of the worst multiplayer experiences in a game. The servers are unstable at best and the entire thing is a massive grind fest. Everything in the game is massively expensive and hard to get. .dll injectors ftw.
@Cira I do have a few friends and I was helped with heists and missions, I leveled up to level 18 from 9 in 4 hours @VeyronEB yeah these cheaters, when I first spawned into an online world I was a Christmas tree ffs, they ruin the game, and don't play it right. And they blow you up if you say or even come near them @Slammington yeah those sharck cards are way way too over priced, €75.00 for 8million$ ?!?!?!
if you want tips, i'll give you some. 1. get 3 other friends so things can become easier 2. there are tons of ways to earn money. imho the quickest way to get 12-13 million is to the criminal mastermind challenge (the 3 friends will help if you are all competent) 3. when fighting, you can roll to disable the enemy's auto lock. 4. start exploring the map so you can get used to it. there are lots of tips but if you want more, head over to the gtaforums.com/forum/273-gta-online/
My friend CoolMan got banned because a hacker because the hacker was just giving him money and I feel nad for him. And I wont play GTA V Online for a while because I get banned for no reason.
