So, as you know, there are mods in BeamNG.drive: cars, maps, etc. But, when I place a mod into the mod folder, it does not work. This happens with some certain vehicles and maps, that I really want to use. (I know how to install mods in the right way.) Sadly, due to this problem, I can not play with those certain mods downloaded. Is there any solution to this problem, and is it my fault for making the mod not work, or is it the owner of the mod?

If it's just certain mods, make sure they are still compatible with the game. Some older mods may have an older structure that needs to be updated in order to work again.

How do you check to make sure they are compatible? And is it the owner's job to update the mod, or can you do it yourself?

Well, check the date when the mod was uploaded. And yes, it's usually the modders that updates his mods.

If you download mods from here:
The ones on the 'MODS' tab are all verified to us. It means that they all work fine.
The ones on the forum, search for the those with the 'RELEASE' or 'WIP BETA RELEASE' tag.

Its easy I used to repack mods, but stopped doing it.

Some older mods, the files them self might need to be updated to work with the newest beam.

some just need to be repacked with the new file structure.

    Example

A folder for a older mod could be like this.

    MOD_Name.zip > mod folder

All you have to do is if its a level repack it like this

    Mod_Name.zip> levels > mod folder

    Vehicles mod?

    Mod_name.zip>vehicles>mod folder

Once the mod is repacked, yes.

With some mods you can reinstall them.
