Made a start on the R trim with front bumper, badging, side skirts, grille and rims completed. Also updated image banner to reflect the new trim.

The amount of quality going into this is astonishing. I really hope it's immense quality doesn't slow down the game

Rear bumpers and exhaust is now done. Now I've got to figure out how the transmission should be modeled

That looks amazing! This should at least partly satisfy my "need" for a real MKVII.

Just a quick preview of the new 18" "Cadiz" rims for the R trim. Also remade brake calipers for the third time.

Shouldn't the calipers be black with a very light grey (almost white) R logo on the R? (my photo)

Please don't demand things on the forum. It just annoys people. Just be patient. The creator can finish the car whenever he wants.

I am well aware it is supposed to be black. I didn't want to make a duplicate brake calliper for the R so it shares the GTI one. In proper renders you will find that the brake callipers are black

omfg justin, this is looking so good. I still cant get over the fact this is your first model. Everything you have done on the car is you learning modeling. In the 3-6 months of modeling that car you have already surpassed my modeling skills, and ive been modeling for 2-3 years. Good job on the car.
