I remember "Gta V leaked footage" (when it was actually BNG), and waiting up all night because the "Drive" tab had a timer and i have a screenshot of the timer at 00 00 00 01 somewhere on my old laptop. Oh yeah, and LAGGGG on my old potato
the hype, the cars, using shittty Russian mods, old menu, old gridmap, not knowing about game updates
Saw the game as "GTA V Damage test" and searched for "Crash Game", found it, tested the Techdemo for like 5 hours, bought the game.
I remember hyping myself up beyond belief, forgetting I had an utter craptop, to enjoy it for hours on end at 20 FPS.
What's your other accounts name? Based on how young you act, I'm betting this is one of your first forum accounts ever, not to mention first beamng forum account.
Spawning multiple cars and changing colors "Drag you mouse over the car and go into "Files.Cars.D15" (Something like that) find color select it click save and there you go also, Trying to get through the pipe on grid map (I can do it now)
well i have 2014 memories waiting for the fucking pre-race update and the old fourms and the when the new car selector was first used
Back when the forums were locked so only a few 13 year olds were able to access the forums. And the Volkswagen Golf MK2 on the Straightline Track off a Russian mod site. If you wanted to crash two cars, you needed to make the other car come towards you. Also, the Bolide was undrivable (one tap on the gas made it spin out) and jaimswallace made a crash compilation only using footage from the stream of the alpha. Anyways, looking through my emails, here's a blast to the past I found: http://www.beamng.com/threads/update-on-the-drive-tab.1069
The game only costing $15.00. And the nightmarish process of downloading the game if it was purchased on a separate email as your forum account. Also, when the drive shaft broke, cycling through transmission modes would make the vehicle derivable again. Also when the Bolide was released, everybody went insane. Off topic: Google thinks Bolide should be collide, lol.
