Every day I would go to work, living a lie... Somehow convincing every one of the brilliant minds around me that I know exactly what I'm doing, when I am constantly faking and making things up as I go along in a desperate attempt to keep my job. I would live in a jargon-filled haze of constant fear, punctuated by moments of sheer terror when someone asks to help them jbeam. I manage to escape each one of these impromptu inquisitions by feigning symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. My coworkers display genuine concern and alarm every time I fake an attack, my guilt increasing with every heartfelt smile and each polite gesture of good will until I can take it no more and decide to confess. I gather everyone together and fess up. To my surprise, everyone either laments to themselves or congratulates Gabester. It turns out they all already knew and had a money pool of sorts on how long I could go before exposing myself as a layperson. Gabester had the closest guess at 6 months. I stumble outside, my pride shattered, but for the first time in 176 days I feel content.
I'd make it a 2d sidescroller FPS... right after I figured out how to program... and I figure out how a 2d sidescrolling first person game would even work.
Honestly, if I were a developer right now, I'd pretty much do what they are doing, hardcore bugfixing. That is assuming I knew how to model and jbeam. I'd want to implement more sounds in game like police sirens, horns and maybe even radio stations, I wouldn't mind a hatch version of the Pigeon, and lastly, focus on getting the Solidad out.
MOAR CARZ I would just get a bunch cars out to do stuff with, even if theyre not perfect, then optimize from there. Repeat until satisfied.
ADD ALOT OF CARS ADD SAFETY SYSTEMS ON CARS ADD SIRONS ADD NEW VARIENTS TO CARS ADD NEW LEVELS ADD CAEAR MODE And lastley...FIX BUGS
Kind of echoing clayton; you have an engine that can simulate pretty much any and all physics. Why stop at concentrating on vehicles? Imagine a soft-body physics shooter based off this engine?
nailed it. if i was a developer of beamng, i would probably develop beamng until it reached a fully developed state.
