1.Supercar rally scenario is impossible, all tires burst on first bridge 2. Rally skin for sunburst doesn't work well in scenarios
If you have spawned 2 cars in freeroam and have the navigation app on screen and drive the second car the nav. stays on the first car. --- Post updated --- I can confirm this happened to me too
Terrain is fading in and out for me no grass terrain and doesn't matter what graphic settings are and ramps are very grabby
Go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive and delete everything but 'Settings' and 'mods'. About the rally skin, looks like we forgot to remove the color informations from those scenarios. On it
I love the new update. the exhaust smoke and engine physics was a critical part that was missing. and now its there! I personally think it made the game a little harder to play around. maybe there should be a button to disable engine physics like overheating and overall death. for freeplay mode.
Please avoid big images. We found the issue making JRI and Gridmap render wrongly. We are working on it. Expect a small hotfix soon.
That had no effect, I actually deleted my cache and double checked when this first happened (not the other stuff though until you mentioned it). Removing all mods and verifying the game with steam didn't help either (deleting the cache again just to make sure). Edit: Guess I took a little too long typing this post to catch the other response.
tried deleting everything no luck, still having terrain and tree rendering problems hoping the hotfix will help
I know this has been pointed out and fixed already, but this is cool. Somehow the DRI and JRI texture map things got mixed up.
I'm having a major issue with loading times when selecting vehicles. Everything was fine this morning but once I updated the game everything slowed down. I have reinstalled the game twice now and made sure there are no mods installed. I've noticed a huge increase in loading times when changing vehicles and especially changing parts. What used to take a couple of seconds now takes fifteen to twenty. Am I the only one with this issue?
East Coast USA is having a problem too. The trees and grass don't show up until you get a certain distance near them. Edit: after clearing cache the problem still occurred then fixed it's self after some time. Sorry for the post.
I'm experiencing a bug that had happened to me on 0.4.3.0 once again. Basically, what I did was install a mod (doesn't matter which one) and it made the game slow down to 5FPS on Gridmap. I cleared my documents folder and reinstalled the game 2 times, neither of which fixed it. I had about 30 or so mods in my mods folder btw.
The performance issues I posted about before are still present in the latest patch. Still getting drops to high 30s on big maps, and constant stuttering when moving the camera. I think I'm done with BeamNG until the devs can fix/improve performance. Asking for a constant 60 fps at normal settings @ 1080p is not too much to ask for with the hardware I have.
As said in first post.. Some scenarios are impossible | Not a bug. Your game must be running over 20FPS to be able to play scenarios correctly. Under 20FPS the game is no more running in real-time, breaking the timers. Using slowmotion during scenario also has no effect on timers. We do understand this, and being able to deliver the smoothest performance possible is certainly something we are after. Due the nature of the game, the fact some people get bottlenecked from the physics, and others from the graphics, solving these issues takes time. Especially when randomly, some people start to get lower FPS for no reason (like you for example). Can you create a separate thread so that we can try to understand what's going on? In that thread please include as many info as you can, aswell as many performance graphs tests in as many situations as possible. Thanks!
