Actually, most ReShade mods require you stick the files in your main directory. Not a sub directory. As a friendly piece of advice to avoid this type of thing again, I would suggest making it abundantly clear that it goes in the Bin64 folder and not the main directory. Something most people skip over. Just bold the last bit or somethin. ;P

First time I hear this. Post an image or video. Make sure it is not depth of field by disabling it as it is explained in the main post.

    hello cessni ,
first of all i LOVE your work and so i decided to give you a suggestion:
since the water is really bad in beam ng could you please make a mod which improves the quality and the animations of the water like realistic animated waves

keep up the amazing work, and if i could i would rate the visual enhancement project 5 STARS:):):):)

I doubt that would be possible.

Thank you very much for your support.

It makes me very happy to know so many people enjoy my work.

I will look into water stuff as soon as I can. But I can not promise anything because as you can see my knowledge is very limited and I only make textures for now.

I think the water is pretty good actually. Clouds, on the other hand, look very bad and it is my main objective now. I also want to release new sky textures.

    Thank you again!

Hello Cessani I do like your work and this is a great mod, my only Gripe is I find the contrast way too high for realism. I did end up setting those three settings 0 but no luck, the gamma Slider also does not reduce overall contrast but makes the image too dark/too light. Any way to fix this?

    Took the leap and done some digging with Notepad++ and now have bit of a formula for tweaking;
open the .cfg (in this case CustomFX.cfg) press Ctrl+F then type USE_ and click next till you find lines with values of 1(enabled effect) then scan through the lines under that effect
After even more digging I found something similar to what I was looking for
    a cross-processing effect in the CustomFX.cfg
    I Changed #define CrossContrast 2.0 //[0.50:2.00]
    to #define CrossContrast 1.55 //[0.50:2.00]
What I had before this change(2.0) was a coloured image with very High black and white levels(Instagram-filter like), you couldn't notice any detail on the tyre sidewalls you would just see a black sidewall with little shine at the right angle. Little to no Grey and lacking detail. I wanted more grey in my image and changing this value to lesser gives less overbrightening (menus less bright, closer to neutral as well), making slightly more dynamic car reflections whilst adding shades of grey to the black and therefore more even blacks/white levels across the board. I also had to go in game and turn the gamma down to 0.85 which shows just how saturated the RGB colours really are...so I'll be looking for some sort of blanket saturation adjustment next and kick that down a few notches to get more realism, even colours and easier-on-the eyes picture. Whilst still retaining the High FPS of this mod, it would help if you could point me in the right direction aye ;)

    Hello,

First of all let me thank you for your interest in improving this mod. I really appreciate it.

As you can read in the troubleshooting section, I give instructions to get less saturated colors for those who find it too colorful. If that doesn't work, look for enabled effects and lower saturation down to the value you find correct.

It is very hard to get a balanced image as you can see. Everything you have are four files with numbers in a determined range.

That is why my preset has some flaws, but you will most likely find this in every preset.

Send me a PM and we keep taking there.

Wow, great mod! It's funny how I never realized BeamNG needed shaders so badly. :p Planning on using this a ton.

One problem though, Scroll Lock doesn't seem to be doing anything... I tried editing the KeyCodes.h but it still won't work. Any ideas as to why?

    So glad to hear that!

That is really weird, be sure to look on Google and keep trying keys.

    Hi,

That is already explained in the post. Please read it.

Try Car Killer's Enhancer, which I link in the post too. Maybe his DoF is of your liking.

    Thanks for your feedback!

So I realised that if I wanted an improvement, I had to do it myself. I then created the texture mods how ?
