Hi, before last few updates game was running perfectly fine but as you can see from the graph below, this spikes makes game unplayeble for me. Every setting is on lowest with everything turned off Resolution is 1920x1080. I could play before about 45 fps on medium-low. I got this issue when i first played the game but it was solved after about a month. Lowering resolution DOES NOT CHANGE ANYTHING AT ALL.
    I'm playing on Asus N550jv GT750m 4gb vram, i7 4700@2,40ghz, 16Gb ram.
Please don't say to me its not playable on laptop, it is playable, I was playing perfectly fine before.

MSI Afterburner info you have in the screenshot says your CPU is at 80°C.
It's probably thermal throttling (means it reduce power to cool down).
Keep an eye on your CPU Temperature. If you notice the CPU cooling down when the 'lag-spike' happens, then it's that.
You can double check by opening Windows task manager and checking if your CPU speed goes down when the lag happens.

I solved the problem. At first I did not think about thermal throttling because in other games my laptop is stable at 80°C. But when you said open up task manager and check cpu speed there, I realised that pc is running at 3.40 ghz and throttles down to about 0.72 every few seconds, and this is caused by Intels infamous turboboost tech. To fix this i just capped the power options maximum and minimum processor state at 99% instead 100. And than cpu speed is fixed at 2.38 ghz. Game runs pretty decent again now thanks for the help.
I think this might help other people who plays the game on a laptop with turboboost.

Hi, I'm a new customer of BeamNG - first time installing it today, however it's running at a very low FPS, around 16 or so at not even the highest settings.

    Problem is, I'm running a powerful system - i7 5820k @ 3,3Ghz, 16 GB DDR4 ram, and a Geforce GTX 980.

In every mode, it runs very slow, even when I turn down the resolution to 1280x720 windowed, and on lowest settings.

CPU temperature isn't even coming above 30°C. This is my performance graph:

The only way I can make it run faster, is if I turn off collisions. Then the graph looks something like this:

Any idea as to what's going on?

EDIT: Hold on, after a reboot it's running fast on high settings. Nevermind!
