Re: Desert truck If this mod would stop making me so excited, that'd be great. Anyways, looks like it's coming along nicely. Excited to see more from this.
Re: Desert truck Thanks everyone . Some more work done on the front end: Added some bent tube to the side to break the flatness a little. Reworked the front tubes. Added french old school yellow lights.
Re: Desert truck Looks awesome Dennis! You should throw a big cylinder gas tank on the rear, try and center that weight bias a bit. Looks like its going to be a total beast though
Re: Desert truck I think if you go with some new engine options please add a 6.7 Cummins swap!! 850tq should be plenty to haul Hell Pig around.
Re: Desert truck Thanks . I thought about making a propane (cylinder) tank for it, but since this is made to cross deserts I decided to put a massive fuel tank in it (300+ liters?), the engine itself isn't that fuel economic (and propane only makes it worse), and I still would like to have it theoretically possible to do around 500 kilometers on a single tank.
Re: Desert truck Nah. That's a real vehicle's name. Besides, it doesn't look like this thing. Desert Pig or Hell Pig are fine.
Re: Desert truck This and the Hondune I'm excited for. I really hope this thing comes out as a well planted respectable powered crawling son of a b. Very excited for this!
Re: Desert truck Nothing too fancy: -Seats. -I had to remove the back of the cab to fit seats and a 1.90m tall person because the Hemtt cab is rather small. -Made the cab walls have thickness rather than being double sided faces. -Added grill mesh to the holes in the body. -Changed the colours a bit.
