I think he meant it was "funny" because you agreed to but they just ditched the offer.

uh no the humor is in the fact that people assume we were exiled from the ROR forums from the beginning...

And because we're on the topic of monster trucks, and Harlow with his dislike of the site, don't expect to ever see anything but models come from him. He has always been complaining about how trucks don't handle right. One sentence for you Steve. Quit bitching about it and do it yourself.

Also, never associate me as a "theif" just because I'm an active member on SM. You guys give people like me who make content from scratch a bad image.

    Rant over.

I know that a lot of people from the RoR forum told a lot of people on the Sim-Monsters community to stay off the official forum and stuff like that. There are many people, including myself that were signed up on the RoR forum before Sim Monsters was even created. I do see tdev's side where he would think splitting the community is a bad idea, but at the same time I do understand why Sim-Monsters would prefer to stay independent. Both have their upsides and downsides I suppose.

and there are a great handful of talented modelers and painters on Sim Monsters. Like RockCrwlr for example. Many people on the official forum sorta make a stereotype that all SM members are annoying little kids. And I know that is not true

    Someone's mad.

And actually i went to start on my own monster nodebeam that isn't complete toss, and discovered that BeamNG has no nodebeaming tools. And there's no way in hell am i doing it in bloody notepad, ++ or otherwise. I'mma wait till there's tools to make stuff before i make stuff.

And yes, grave digger will get made. Probably after SUD and zombie

At the time I said that, yes.

And if that's the case, make the n/b in Blender 2.49 and export it to a .truck file and then use the node and beam conversion Dummiesman made. Worked for my crawler, just never got the tires to work.

You can 'model' nodebeams like that? Neat.

I'm still going to wait for actual tools though. Reminds me of Need For Madness. You needed to model by hand in that game too. But it had the excuse of intentionally looking like a sega CD 3d game. Still fun as hell

    Which one?

If it's the most recent True Blunder, that F150 is certainly in the cards. As for the F350 one, i know i have perfect blueprints for it, but not many trucks used that body, so eh, mabye

That's pretty funny. You were a very active member on the site until we banned you a couple months ago lol. Hell, you even competed in multiple events. Don't start hopping on the bandwagon just becasue you're not allowed on the site. And no we don't think that. Harlow is a fantastic modeler, it's just that no one can take his harsh judgements on everyone else's work with his fancy language, "plain and simple".

Oh god that thing is shit. The actual design work was good, but the mesh was 80% A-grade awful. It'd need to be redone top to bottom.

That said, when the nodebeaming tools are released(?) I'll start the community content challenge series. And if the first month takes off the second month with certainly be steampunk season; And i'll bring Beastie back then. I still got some concept sketches and barebones map designs around for it, and if it goes off well it'll be a real beautiful thing

And for anyone who doesn't know what the BB was, have a gander
