My dad has this 2005 Ford F-150. Only RWD, so not good for off-roading, but good for hauling Category IV trailers.
Well i recently bought a murray go kart off craigslist. I guess youd kind of consider that offroad lol. Little 6hp engine on it.
I'd love to do something, I have a 5 speed xterra with 4wd and a killer low range gearbox. Sadly the most I have is this small but steep hill and the occasional dirt road. I've been meaning to go to an offroad park in west georgia, but its a long drive and my parents won't let me. That pisses me off because it's my car and my gas that I would be using.
Here are my toys: Its an old photo of the buggy where it still had a Mini 1275 engine and coilovers. I have since put in a Yamaha FJ1200 engine, air suspension with an onboard air tank and compressor for adjustments on the go and a few other things. And this is my car, its a 1998 Isuzu Frontier 2.8 Turbodiesel with a few improvements to make it less of a donkey. It has a 2 inch lift and rear diff lock.
I enjoy taking the Crown Vic on trails and stuff when I can. There aren't many left in west Knoxville. I haven't gotten stuck or anything yet. Limited slip diff and an extra inch of ground clearance over the civi models helps with that.
#LandCruiserMasterRace I'm only 16 and I've got a 1986 HJ61G (12HT) The car behind it is mum's 1997 FZJ80R (1FZ-FE Duel Fuel) Both of these cars are extremely capable considering they're both as stock as they were when they came from the factory.
Wow that HJ61 looks so clean and rust free. See these finnish rust buckets (also how expensive): http://www.nettiauto.com/toyota/land-cruiser?show_search=1&engineFrom=4.0&engineTo=4.1
It's extremely clean, I took the stickers off the side and polished it. It looks like a brand new car now but it has a small amount of rust around the sunroof which I will be getting fixed in a month or so.
my offroad toy/project/money pit is a 1986 jeep comanche poser shot it started out as a 2.8L v6 and i'm in the middle of a 4L I6 swap i've also got this guy an 01 kx 125. saddly I didn't get to rid it last year, and probably won't get out on it this year either
