Okay. So we have controls for the Xbox 360 right? So how about we make controls for the PS3? More controls would mean more variety and fun right? We also have a derby scenario. It would make more variety. I think we should make controls for the PS3, so all those guys who have 4 PS3 controllers could use them here.
PS3 controllers dont natively work on PC except through 3rd party software which forces them to use Xbox controls anyway...
I've been using my PS3 controllers for this game, they work excellently with SCP DS3 drivers, just make sure to get the newest version from the pcsx2 thread
Just buy a Xbox 360 controller at a thrift store or Walmart or something for at the most 30 dollars, I saw a controller at good will for $5. There pretty cheap.
Why would one buy a new controller for thirty dollars when one could just install drivers and get the ds3 controller to work?
I said you could go to a thrift store and buy a used one for a cheaper price and $30 controllers are the special camo controllers and ones that light up. A base wired controller at Walmart is $15 at a thrift store you can get one for $5.
Well, not in Canada at least. Controllers here are around $50 bucks new, and you absolutely can't find them at thrift stores and I would know. And secondly, my point stands; don't bother buying something when you can make something you already own work just as well. I still recommend getting the SCP DS3 drivers installed, it's free, easy, and can tether to bluetooth dongle to allow wireless play.
It's not easy for people who don't know how to work with drivers and that sh!+. But I'm not gonna start an argument.
ohh no, this isn't an argument - just a discussion. It's what forums are for, eh? From the [scp ds3] thread itself: New Install: Connect your Dongle and controller via USB and let Windows install its default drivers. Unpack the archive. Create a directory where you want the Service to run from. Recommended - "C:\ScpServer". Copy the contents of the ScpServer\bin to the directory you created. Run ScpDriver.exe. XP/Vista/10 - check the Force Install option. Win 7/8 leave it unchecked. Click Install. this, or buying a new controller. Your pick.
