Hi, This is probably my second model ever. Ive just started working on it so it's barely there. I'll update when I the chance. Thanks for looking. Advice and criticism is welcome. Cleaned some lines and started front, back, and bottom. Spent a few minutes on the grill bumper and the rear window.
Haha nice man, keep it coming im looking forward to this in game , hopefully there will be a body/suspension lift option and 'beefier' parts and tires to add and maybe start some real beam off roading good stuff!
The bronco was my favorite car in GTA sa ( there known as "rancher" ) - Looking forward to this vehicle in the game
Haha, I'm glad you liked the Slightly updated version I hope it all imported fine and is a good basis for you to continue from! Good luck, Rob
Thanks. I've been working on it but mainly to redo the entire flow of the body. So I've went from a rough outline to beveling edges, smoothing vertices, and fleshing out smaller details. I've been going over it and separating the mesh into pieces to help editing everything else. Hopefully I'll get time to really get back to it this labor day weekend. I have a few ideas I want to try to implement that I think, if plausible, would make it a very fun vehicle.
This could be so awesome! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a truck bed option for it so it can double as a Ford Ranger!!!!!
I agree with allowing it to have a bed. I have an 89 ford ranger xlt and these aren't too different. If not perhaps i'll consider picking up 3ds max again.
Cant wait to see how this turns out. My first vehicle was an old 88. If I remember correctly, think this is a 78-87 (Second or Third gen) model. Also, the truck bed option would be very cool. But its more along the lines of an F series model (F-150) rather than a Ranger. The Ranger is much smaller. I used to see straight over my friends Ranger when he was in front of me at school.
Couple year ago, my friend rolled his 85 bronco II. We sawed the crushed top half off from behind the seats back and installed some bars. The B was all that was left from its badge so we slapped a Ranger emblem in front of that B and dubbed it the BRanger.
Oh man, I had a '92 Bronco as my first car. I miss it, a lot. I swear to God, I'll PAY you to finish this.
did it have any rollover issues? im wondering because im thinking about buying one of these used as my first car
Like I've said I will finish it. It does get frustrating though as every time I start back on it I decide I don't like the way I've modeled a certain part and I completely re do it. I've started working on the interior and under body. I haven't even dipped my toe into anything but actually getting the model ready so even after it's modeled there's a butt ton of work to be done for uv, textures,n/b and before I do any of that I actually have to learn how. Thank you for the response.
Unless you're doing something stupid or driving too fast, I think you're ok. I didnt plow through the corners with my Bronco like I did my car, but the stance of the thing is actually pretty good. And the turning radius is phenomenal. I could do a u turn in the road without ever setting one tire off the lines.
