Can't access Scene Editor, extra levels in full version

So I purchased the game today, and was excited to play around with the AI, as I really enjoyed playing with the tech demo.

I downloaded the game from the link in the email I received after purchasing.

However, I had forgotten that I still had the tech demo installed when I installed the full version, using my license key.

Realizing my mistake, I uninstalled both, then reinstalled with my license key again. Unfortunately, I still have the same limits as the demo; I can only access the levels Cliff, Derby Arena, Dry Rock Island, Grid Pure, Grid Map, Industrial Site, Small Island USA.

I believe there are supposed to be more maps in the full version, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Regardless of whether or not there are more maps, I am unable to access the Scene Editor to add new vehicles. Pressing F11 does nothing.

My install folder contains a file serial.txt which contains my license key, so I believe it is registered properly.

If I run BeamNG Update after installing, it downloads a single file, but this doesn't fix the issue.

I've also used Force Update, but it has also not made a difference.

I'm playing on a desktop with a standard keyboard, so my function keys work normally.

Does anyone know what the issue could be, as well as how to fix it?

To answer the level question: no there are no more maps than the ones mention in your post, keep in mind it's alpha. No idea why your level editor isn't working, you could try binding it to another key in your keyboards inputmap.

You do have access to the full version, at least concerning the maps. Here is a Wiki page for all the official content that comes packaged with the game. http://wiki.beamng.com/Official_Content

As for not being able to access the Scene editor make sure you are not in full-screen mode. If you are it will pop-up and ask you to go to windowed mode. You can get there by hitting ALT+Enter if you are not already in full-screen or access to options menu by pressing CTRL+O and unchecking "Fullscreen."

    Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, this didn't solve the problem, although F10 now shows the GUI editor.

Interestingly, I can't find the key listed at all in the keyboard input map. But then again, I can't see F10 listed either, but it does work.

Good to know about the levels; I've seen some really cool ones on YouTube videos, and wasn't sure if they came included or were in the Terrains showcase.

Thanks for the help so far!

No problem. I really don't have any clue about the mission editor not working. If your GUI editor works I see no reason the Mission editor can't. Hopefully someone smart will drop by and see this.

Also you might want to look through the terrains showroom. I've been doing that and downloading a few over the past hour. Quite an interesting selection of fun terrains. I quite like the Extreme-off-road-V1-1-Update

    Right, so I'm a dumbass.

I've actually had this problem before in different software.

Specifically, being able to "step into" when debugging in Visual Studio (F9).

The issue is that I like to use a program called iTunesKeys, which allows you to set keyboard shortcuts that can control iTunes no matter what program you have open. I use F9 and F11 to jump forward and backward between songs.

Turning off iTunesKeys solves the issue entirely.

Thank you all for your help!
