    Hi guys, so I just bought this game and i was very excited to play it, only to find out i get a max of 22fps and average is around 15 sometime less.

    My pc specs are;
    fx 8350 cpu
    2x radeon 7850s in crossfire
    16 gb corsair vengeance ram at 1600mhz
    windows 8

    any ideas what could be causing this? I know it could be a possibility its windows 8 because since installing that 50% of my games have started running shit but it only tends to be the older ones (direct x10 and below)

    Thanks

    Uncheck/Disable the SSAO from PostFX manager.

    Hi thanks for you reply, which that did help regain a couple of fps, it did not solve it.

    I have found that i can double the fps by turning off crossfire, i take it that means its not very well optimized for crossfire.

    Is this something that will be rectified on game release?

    Thanks

    As of current, the game is not well optimized for anything AMD or early Intel quad cores. It seems the game is optimized to run best on more recent Intel processors and NVidia video cards.

    Im running a 8350 and a 7950. I can play at ultra no problem. 30 fps, but i mostly play at normal for 60+ fps.

    The problem is not optimization. AMD CPUs and old Intel CPUs have low single-threaded performance, that's what is causing all the low perfomance problems and bottlenecks.

    Maybe so, but the game isnt like ror that only uses 1-2 cores, but this game uses all 8 cores :) AMD is not the problem. I am getting good fps :)

    I get pretty good FPS on my AMD rig. (I prefer intel/Nvidia but AMD is cheaper)
    But, I do get the missing textures glitch on some maps made by users. (High speed bowl and TG track specifically)

    For gaming I prefer Intel/AMD. Intel because it's obviously better and I don't want to lose performance just for some euros. And AMD GPU because for the same price I get better performance.
