Can you please write it down in text? A video is the worst thing to explain a problem like that .. :\

Before I renamed the folder, the skin worked. The folder name was fire_skin. I renamed the folder to flame_skin, and I also did the same in the .jbeam file. When I went in game, the skin doesn't work. I renamed the folder fire_skin, and renamed it in the .jbeam as well. I went in game, and it doesn't work. Its looks like a glitch with the game.

    Both ZIP work fine.
(And they are the same exact thing).

Did you try to restart the game?
If you change paths, sometimes reloading the vehicle doesn't refresh the texture paths.

Even with me restarted the game, the skin doesn't show. And that's was my point, one isn't working for me, and one is working fine, even though they are the same.

Are you sure you don't have any cached files causing this?

Go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive/vehicles/burnside and see if you have anything in there.

Can you load the vehicle with your skin. Then close the game, go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive and upload here the beamng.log file.

I'm quite sure you uploaded the wrong 'non working' ZIP.
    I triple checked.
All the files have the same 'last edited' data/time.

In the log it shows it's not loading the materials.cs file in the fire_skin folder at all.
    Code:
26.94757|D|TS| === BeamNG - loading all .cs files in vehicle folder:vehicles/burnside/
    26.94892|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/burnside/materials.cs
    26.95067|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/burnside/crash_test_skin/materials.cs
    26.95117|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/burnside/montecarlo_skin/materials.cs
    26.95454|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/common/materials.cs
    26.95659|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/common/flail/materials.cs
    26.95730|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/common/hubcaps/materials.cs
    26.95803|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/common/lightbars/materials.cs
    26.95946|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/common/pickup/materials.cs
    26.96088|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/common/tires/materials.cs
    26.96166|D|TS| * loading materials script file: vehicles/common/wheels/materials.cs
Please check you sent the correct 'non-working' ZIP.

Also, one thing that is not clear from your explanation.
The version BEFORE the edit is still working fine for you?
The problem is only the one AFTER the edit (which is basically a revert to go back to your previous thing)?

In the parts menu, do you see the skin being selected?

That zip has the fire_skin folder in it.
And yes, the one that isn't edited still works, and the one I changed and reverted back is not working.
The skin is selected in the parts menu

NVM - Still checking this thing.
    (Edit done before reply below)

Also, the mod approval guys were already helping you with this via PM, so I don't really see why you made a thread if they were already assisting you.

As you can see in this picture, the last edit time is different. The file Hotrod Burnside Gamer Alex is the working one. Let me reupload them.

Well, I understand, they were trying to help, but even so, this is the issue on why its not working. Renaming things in that folder, or the folder itself breaks it.

Ignore first part of post above.
I managed to replicate the issue.

Give me 5 mins to figure this out.

    I think I figured out.
The 'non-working' ZIP seems to be corrupted.

I first tested both as ZIP, and they acted as you said.
Then I tested them unpacked, and both worked fine (I tested both unpacked on my first try above too).

I then extracted the files from the 'non-working' ZIP and repacked them, and it worked.

So yeah, not a game bug.
    Your ZIP pack is corrupted.

Also, if both ZIP are the same thing, but one is working and one is not, why didn't you just use the working ZIP? Wouldn't have it been much faster then trying to solve this puzzle?

The issue in this thread is not related to the issue the guys at the mod approval were helping you with.

They asked to renamed your skin internal name (fire_skin) to something more unique to prevent conflicts with other mods. Simply follow exactly what they wrote, they already explained everything you have to do in details.

So, the .zip corrupts everytime I rename something in it. So I need to make a new .zip everytime I change something?

The issue with the guys is related to this thread. If simply renaming the folder corrupts the zip, then I couldn't get it to work even I followed his steps. Thats why I made this thread.

You should have continued the whole discussion with them, they are here to help you :)

I don't know about the renaming part. Windows ZIP utility should do it correctly, if that's what happening to you, something may be wrong in your PC.

I simply repacked your files in a new ZIP without any changes and it worked just fine.

    EDIT-

As you can see, one ZIP is missing a tiny amount of bytes for some reason, causing the issue more likely.
