Make sure your graphics settings are the same as before, the update may have reset them.
Also, disable Vsync and FPS limiter.

Go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive and delete everything (backup your mods if you want, but don't put back yet)

    Clean reinstall.
    Follow these exact steps:
    -Unistall BeamNG from Steam
-Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from MyDocuments (backup your mods if you want, but don't put them back yet!)
-Delete BeamnG.Drive folder from Steam/Steamapp/common (If there is still a folder)
    -Reinstall BeamNG.

Your specs doesn't matter much for this.
Have you followed all the steps I wrote, in the same order?
You sure you remove all your mods?

    Please triple check

Just tried out the new update for a bit. First of all, I love all the performance improvements you guys did this time around. I'm finally able to load jungle rock island again without getting out of memory errors and it is running pretty good all around. New car is also working great, as always I love the detail you guys put into the new vehicles you release.

A few things I noticed though, in jungle rock island the soft collisions with bushes and branches I found a little too strong. When you're driving through the back trails if you lightly brush into a bush or rub into a branch leaning onto the road it just sucks you into the bush and you get stuck which removes some of the fun of bush driving. I also found that there are a few spots on the map where my car was clipping into trees and breaking which was a little disappointing.

All in all a great update, I just hope some of those things can be adjusted and tweaked for the next release.

I am also experiencing the same issue. What can I do to fix it? Or will there be a patch?

I've found the issue, it was an unrelated one, after a good few hours of testing I was finally able to reproduce it. Turns out it was a massive Google Chrome memory leak which was filling my system RAM usage to full causing BeamNG to lag badly.

Edit: Actually BeamNG eats massive amounts of memory too, its an issue with the combo of both then I guess..

Edit2: Yeah, BeamNG just uses 2GB of my RAM, chrome just pushes it over the top

Since this thread is labelled as Latest Update feedback as well... I thought I may post an idea. Would the Developers consider adding body coloured or painted white six lug steel rims? If anything, perhaps add a five lug option, it is just a thought.

After looking again, there are serious memory issues with Utah, multiple people I have talked to have the same issue (3-4GB of RAM used). Within the time of loading the map the game RAM usage goes through the roof. ECA is running at around 2GB of RAM used, Utah on the other hand is 4GB at least from the second it loads.

Its using up all of my 8GB of RAM within literally seconds of loading resulting in the performance issues I was having before...

You can see how much of a spike it created while loading:

First of all, wonderful job with the Utah map! You guys make me want to live there.

Aside from the weird wacky "interesting" Miramar, the new features like the rally lights are quite welcome! I'm not a fan of the chase camera, but as mentioned earlier, I can simply skip past it.

I can't say that I notice anything different with the AI, and Utah seems to have a few points where the car hangs, but I realize it's a WIP.

Nice attention to detail by letting the engine get starved of oil! Although I don't think the engine is supposed to be able to run in this particular situation.
