We need Nascar in Beamng. I'm working on moonhawk mods to get the car to handle like a cup car. If you are doing the same thing please post a pick and description of what you are doing. Maybe we can get this going in the right direction.

I've changed the 350 engine torque and rpm range. Changed to race parts in parts manager, lowered suspension, changed wheels and tire and changed the camber Set the differential to a "3.42 posi-traction limited-slip differential". Removed bumpers, seats and mirrors.

I need help finding the tire jbeam file to change the friction coefficient and it needs a roll cage.

Also if your good at map building in blender please contact NickDeAppel for the creation of Talladega Super Speedway over in Content Creation. Thanks for your ideas and support!

This will work, and I like this idea. Only, you'll have to do these things:
    1. Create a map with waypoints for the cars to go in the direction of the speedway.
    2. Create modded cars that could go well with it.
I think the Moonhawk, Barstow, Grand Marshall, and the Pessima because there are Japanese cars in NASCAR, would work great.

I have done some very basic work to mod the Barstow into a NASCAR style stock car. I'm learning Blender at the same time, so progress will be slow. I don't have anything to show for it yet, but my plan is to include:

    • 1-2 skins based off of popular late 60's/early 70's NASCAR cars
    • Roll cage
    • High grip racing slicks
    • High HP engine
    • Transmission modifications
    • Rear spoiler
    • Window net
    • Stripped down stock car style interior
    • Welded shut doors
    • Other tweaks for that authentic look

I'm hoping for this type of overall look:

I cant wait to see! They just added the roll cage to the Moonhawk. I'm that much closer to a finished product. A nice skin would be sweet.

Didn't even notice the update! Awesome! It has a roll cage AND and NASCAR style spoiler. I'll have to play around with the Moonhawk a bit this weekend.

Heh, make sure you use some of the already-in-game fake sponsors in 60s style fonts...
