    Jackrabbit Gulch
    The Vehicular Stunt Island

    Ready to be a Jackrabbit?

Jackrabbit Gulch is an map built around the idea of a television show about ridiculous vehicular stunting. The map features a blend of some downright absurd stunts and simple loop-based tracks.
    Highlights of the Map:
    The Ribbon - Dizzy Yet?

The Triplets - Three Little Ramps

The Stepping Stones (low) - "Suspension Test"

The Airdrop - Quite the Fall

The Eggsplitter - Making a Automlette

The Atrophied Heart - Shamelessly Taken from Gridmap

The Ridge - A simple, but varied track loop

Möbius Strip - Gridmap's Nonsense in a Physical Sense

The Bullseye - 10 Points for Center

The Dudeson - They Probably Did Something Like This

Simplicity - Jump Here, Land Here

The Stepping Stones (High) - The Ouchier Version

Faculty Parking - No Handicap Spots

Of course, there's plenty more little ramps, tricks, and roads. Those up there are just the big ones.
Remember, the map is in beta so there are probably little hiccups, floating trees, and who knows what else. Just ignore them for now. This is also my first map, so don't bite the newbie who spent an hour trying to figure out how to package it all up correctly (and it probably still isn't...)
    :p
The map was originally going to be drastically different, like a desert, but it took a different turn so it became what it is! Everything was tested using the default truck, so that is what the map is based around.

Just toss the ZIP in your mods folder, it should work.

    Todo:
    1. More road smoothing
    2. Finish place static rock objects over top of "rock" textures
    3. Fix any floating trees
    4. Add more stuff probably
    Enjoy!

P.S. There are 20 miniature boats scattered around the map, try and find them all!

I've tried downloading this four times now, and each time Windows reports that the .ZIP is invalid. Windows Explorer is completely unable to open it (though 7-Zip can, somehow). Has anyone else successfully downloaded and played this map?

something is happening when you are downloading the map, check your browser settings and make sure the download is complete before closing your browser

I thought this was the problem at first, so I tested it. I downloaded one mod through the installer, one through the forum, and one through Dropbox, all of which were equal to or larger than Jackrabbit Gulch in size. I also tried to download this one again, and monitored its progress from start to finish. Every other download worked perfectly, but this one abruptly cut out at 106 MB. On my first two tries, it died at roughly 55 MB, but since then it happens around 105 MB.

I've tried it on both my and my neighbor's internet, as well as on my good computer and my old one. Both work fine at downloading the file so I don't know what to say.

Try deleting your cache, I don't know if that would affect the download, but it does normally help with these types of issues

Well, I'll keep trying. Glad (for your sake) it's a problem only on my end. It looks like a really entertaining map; hopefully I will get it working eventually!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try it shortly.

EDIT: Attempt #6 (after clearing the cache) failed again. Lucky #7, though, finally succeeded. Nice work on this map, I really enjoy a good stunting course.
