Customization Issues

Hey all,

I'm not particularly sure if I'm just being an idiot, or if there is a bug.

When I go to car customization, I see the drop down for "Body."

But it seems all the additional drop downs (such as the extra door stuff, such as panels, mirrors, etc.) are missing. An example, for doors, I have the option to have doors on or off, but none of the other customizations. For engine, I can select the base unit (Displacement and number of Overhead cams) but I can't get in to the other selections (turbo [where applicable], etc.). For suspension, I can select whether or not the entire subframe is there, but can't customize suspension type, brakes, etc.

I'll put up some comparison screenshots of what I mean later.

Any idea though (if you understand what I'm saying) what the issue might be? Or if I'm just a bumbling idiot?

you have to drop it down again. or are you not able to do that?

 

It doesn't appear that I have a second drop down option. I'll check again once I get off work, but I could have sworn that the secondary drop downs weren't there.

 

I have it sometimes where it won't open the menus properly as well, it won't actually expand the menu, it will only use the footprint that it used when it opened. If I open the last drop down menu, it would go from a + to a -, but it wouldn't actually show anything beneath it. If I opened the drop down menu above it, it would show the first option, but that's it, and so-on. It goes away if you close the menu and open it again. It gets increasingly annoying when the game won't let me disable the sub menus. However, in my case the latest update seems to have helped with it. Is your game fully updated?
