It's a free skiing simulator that is surprisingly addictive and has lots of high speed thrills. It's on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/244930 It also has great graphics and maps, and runs well.
It looks fun, but as an avid skier it bugs me that the character skis improperly, not badly but in a way that he would be constantly off balance on anything but flat runs; The skiier's "style" is enough to turn me off from the game. For what the game seeks to accomplish the game does well: SKATE but on skis. For snowboarders complaining about a lack of boards, 99% of all other snow sports games lack skis so give us this one. Besides I wont be surprised if boards get added eventually anyhow.
