Why wouldn't an electric supercharger work? Assuming its actually a supercharger with a powerful electric motor strapped to it and separate batteries and not just some kind of office fan in a fancy case plugged into the the cars existing electronic system.
energy to compress air and displace it at reasonable rate is insane, battery power either drained very quick or you require a ton of battery
