I only ask because I don't have the best pc but I have the techdemo and It runs 15-20 fps which is good for me. I was wondering if the game has been better optimized? I really want this game. So should I buy it know because I'm planning on getting a new PC soon.

I'd say about 30-35% faster (at least on my machine).
The next update is going to bring in more optimizations on the graphics side.

Which Intel Celeron processor is it? What graphics card do you have (if any)?
A Celeron probably won't have good performance with BeamNG.drive.

Definetly on Steam! You get regular updates on Steam! It's more worth buying the a tad bit more expensive one on Steam!

I second this. You also have a low amount of system memory. Maps in this game such as Utah can use nearly 4GB on their own.
